CARAMEL WORDS

Have you ever wanted some candy but there was none in your house? Make some! Here's an easy way to make caramel with ingredients you will find in your kitchen. It's really yummy too!!!!!

1

Materials:

-1/3 cup of water
-1/2 cup of sugar
-1/4 stick of butter
- wax paper

Directions:

Put a little bit of water (about 1/3 of a cup) in a sauce pan. Add 1/2 a cup of sugar to the pan.

Note: There should only be enough water to dissolve the sugar.

2

Boil off the water until the mixture stops bubbling and only the melted sugar remains.

Note: It takes time for all the water to evaporate.

3

Heat the sugar until it is a golden brown color.

4

Cut a 1/4 stick of butter into small pieces. Add a couple of pieces at a time to the sugar. Stir until all the butter is melted and combined with the sugar.

Note: Make sure not to burn the caramel.

5

Take the caramel mixture off the heat and pour spoonfuls of the caramel onto wax paper.

6

Let the caramel cool and enjoy!!!!!!

Note: The caramel tastes best when eaten while drinking milk.

NOTE: This caramel is not real caramel like you buy at the store, because it has a hard consistency instead of soft and chewy but it is very yummy.
